Following our wedding, over 18 years ago, Sharmin and I set out for Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute.  Four years later, and with one addition to our family, we returned to Missoula, Montana where I began working as a teacher and coach at Valley Christian School.  For the next 9 years I developed curriculum, coached basketball and soccer, and taught Bible, Speech, Fitness, Histroy, P.E., and an Apologetics class.  During this time we added two boys to our family of 3 and I began speaking in churches, youth camps, and conferences.  In 2004 I resigned from teaching and began building homes as a contractor and working part-time as an associate pastor at Lincoln School Baptist Church.  In December, 2005, our family began a new adventure with Food for Hungry, a world relief and development organization.  We currently live in Phoenix, home schooling our 3 children (Ashley, Josiah, and Kyle), and ministering with Food for the Hungry.

Our family is enjoying the sunshine in Phoenix.  We spend a large amount of our “off” time hiking, biking, and swimming.  Ashley continues to dream how she can combine her passion for horses and missions, Josiah hikes Arizona with his boyscout troop, and Kyle stays busy playing football.
